Refund & Pickup Policy

We're a small business and we want every Jahive purchase to feel right. Here's exactly how pickup, delivery, and refunds work.
๐ฏ The short version
Free pickup at the farmers market. Free local delivery on orders over $100. No shipping right now. If something is wrong with your order, message us within 7 days and we'll make it right.
How You Get Your Order
We currently offer two fulfillment options:
- ๐ Market Pickup (Free): Pick up at our booth at the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market. After you pay online, we'll confirm your order and let you know which market day to come by. Bring your name and order confirmation.
- ๐ Local Charlotte Delivery (Free on orders $100+): We'll deliver to your home or office within Charlotte by appointment, typically within 3โ5 days of payment. Orders under $100 don't qualify for delivery โ please choose pickup or add to your order.
We do not ship at this time. We're focused on serving the Charlotte community in person and locally.
Order Confirmation
After you pay, you should receive a confirmation from us by email or Instagram DM within 24 hours. If you don't hear from us, message @jahive2026 or email jahcrochet1@gmail.com โ sometimes confirmations land in spam.
Refunds
We honor refunds in these cases:
- Damaged or spoiled product: If your honey jar is broken, leaking, or shows signs of fermentation; if your spice blend has visible mold; or if any product arrives in unusable condition โ message us within 7 days with a photo and we'll replace the item or refund you in full. Your choice.
- Wrong item received: If we sent you the wrong product, we'll fix it at no cost to you โ replacement plus a complimentary item.
- Order not fulfilled: If we cancel your order or can't fulfill it, you'll receive a full refund through your original payment method.
What's Not Refundable
- Custom crochet orders โ once production begins, custom orders are non-refundable. We work with you on design before starting.
- Change of mind on opened food products โ for food safety, we cannot accept returns of opened jars, opened spice blends, or opened tea bags.
- Allergic reactions โ full ingredient lists are on every label and on the website. We're not liable for allergic reactions to ingredients listed on the product. If you have a serious allergy, please review ingredients carefully before ordering.
- Crystallized honey โ raw honey naturally crystallizes over time. This is a sign of quality, not a defect. Warm the closed jar in hot water to liquify.
How to Request a Refund
Email jahcrochet1@gmail.com or DM @jahive2026 within 7 days of receiving your order. Include:
- Your name and order date
- Which product(s) and what's wrong
- A photo if applicable
- Whether you'd prefer a replacement or a refund
Refunds are issued through your original payment method (Square, Cash App, or PayPal) and typically appear within 5โ10 business days, depending on the platform.
Jar Return Program
Bring your clean, empty Jahive honey jar back to our booth at the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market and get $2 off your next jar. Better for the bees, better for the planet, better for your wallet.
Cancellation
You can cancel an order any time before it's prepared (typically the day before market pickup or before delivery is scheduled). Just message us. Once we've prepared the order or it's en route, the order can no longer be cancelled โ but the refund policy above still applies if anything is wrong.
